My research specializes in cultural sociology with a focus on global consumer culture. I investigate patterns of consumption and the mechanisms of distinction, specifically examining how cultural capital and stratification shape consumer preferences and market dynamics. My empirical work has explored these themes through the lenses of music taste, globalized consumption, and pet ownership. My research has been published in leading international journals, including Sociology, and the British Journal of Sociology. Complementing my academic background, I bring extensive industry experience from Amazon.com, Alibaba, and consulting projects with Global Top brands.
