スティーブン・マードック客員教授

Stephen is very proud to have been named Visiting Professor at Rikkyo University College of Business, Tokyo in April 2020. He teaches ‘Cases in Law and Business Ethics’ and ‘Corporate Social Responsibility’, as well as doing extensive work on the College of Business AACSB Accreditation drive. Prior to his arrival at Rikkyo, Stephen spent 20 years as Dean and Associate Dean at two triple accredited business schools in France, namely Rouen Business School (now NEOMA) and IESEG School of Management, and is a specialist in creating strategic partnerships with business schools around the world.

Before entering the academic world in 1997, Stephen spent 5 years in the Consulting Division of Arthur Andersen Paris Office which, at that time, was one of the most prestigious consulting/audit firms in the world. He is Canadian of origin and was a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ontario (Lawyer) practicing criminal and civil litigation in Canada for 9 years prior to his move to France.

Besides his love of quality assurance in business schools, Stephen has run over 25 half-marathons and 10 km races around the world. He is impatiently awaiting a return to race running to attempt his first half-marathon in his beloved Japan.

Stephen has written over 15 cases in Ethics and Law (for internal teaching purposes) concerning 12 different countries, including China, Vietnam, Thailand, Canada, France, Cameroon. He is currently working on writing 2 cases involving ethics in Japan.
